The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has launched its 2022-2026 Strategic Plan at an event held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Kenneth Kaunda Wing in Lusaka.
Speaking at the launch ceremony ZDA Board Chairperson Prof Biemba Maliti, who was flanked by the Director General Mr. Albert Halwampa, expressed happiness at the occasion which he said sets a roadmap for the agency to operate at a world class level that will attract investments in the country, generate wealth and create jobs.
“The Strategic Plan is the bridge for economic transformation agenda in the country as contained in the Eighth National Development Plan.” Prof Maliti said. He stressed that the document signified a shift in staff service delivery and passion anchored on the core values to serve with diversity, integrity, excellence, team spirit, innovation and courtesy.
Earlier Mr. Halwampa shared highlights of the Strategic Plan whose targets he was confident would not only be met by the ZDA but surpassed, going by the unprecedented investment trends currently prevailing in the country.
The full ZDA Board was in attendance supported by Government, stakeholders from both the private and public sectors as well as collaborating partners and donor agencies.
