The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) is mandated to promote and facilitate trade, investment and business development services in the country as provided for under the ZDA Act No 17 of 2022 and the Investment Trade and Business Development Act No 18 of 2022.
The ZDA is hereby seeking to compile a database of farmland either for long term lease or outright purchase available anywhere in the country. The collected information will be used to compile a database of land available in all the 10 provinces in the country for immediate use for various agriculture activities.
In this regard, land owners interested to either lease or sale farm land are hereby invited to contact the Zambia Development Agency for possible inclusion on the database in line with details as specified below.
Required Specifications:
Location: Available farmland in all the 10 provinces in the country qualify for consideration;
Size: In order to qualify for consideration the minimum required size is 250ha, but the most preferred is 500 -1000 ha, while the ideal size is 5000ha which should be located in one area; and
State of the land: In order to qualify for consideration the land should be cleared and ready for immediate cultivation.
