Project Description<\/td>\n The US$600M Ngonye Falls Hydroelectric Project will be Zambia\u2019s largest run-of-river hydro and the country\u2019s largest renewable IPP, generating 180 MW and 830 GWh\/year\u2014over 25\u00d7 Western Province\u2019s current demand, enough for 175,000 households. Construction (3\u20134 years) will begin in 2023, creating 3,000 jobs. Backed by APP, InfraCo Africa, and DBSA, the project is open to FDI through a majority stake in partnership with government, community, and development partners.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
