Project Description<\/td>\nDanAon Renewable Energy Zambia Ltd is developing a 22.5 MW solar PV plant in Kasima, Mongu District, generating \u224845.5 GWh\/year and connected to the Mongu Substation. The USD 20\u201323M project is backed by a 25-year ZESCO PPA at USD 0.08\/kWh, offering 15% equity IRR. Zambia\u2019s growing electricity deficit and industrial demand make this a strong renewable investment. The plant will create 120 construction and 10 permanent jobs, reduce 90,000 tCO\u2082\/year, and provide community benefits.
