Zambia is elated to be participating at the third Intra Africa Trade Fair (IATF) taking place in Cairo Egypt the inaugural place of IATF in 2018.
Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) Director General Albert Halwampa says at the first IATF in 2018, Zambia participated with only 5 companies but is happy to lead 23 Zambian companies from across sectors in 2023.
Mr Halwampa says under the auspices of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area, the participating companies have the opportunity network, identify business leads, clinch deal, structure transactions and increase exports and investments with other companies from 55 participating African countries.
“We believe that if Africa trades more with each other, invests more with each other, we are bound to increase jobs, value addition and support our industrialisation,” explained Mr Halwampa.
