The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) Acting Director General Albert Halwampa has revealed that the Agency has recorded an increase in the value of projected investments and non – traditional exports (NTEs) in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka at the Agency’s headquarters, Mr. Halwampa said 95 Investment ventures with an investment of USD 1.1billion was recorded compared to 92 investment ventures recorded in the same period of 2021 with an investment of USD 631million, representing an increase of 73.53 percent.
The ZDA chief added that non-traditional exports (NTEs) increased by 24.27 percent to USD 906.17 million in the third quarter of 2022 from USD 729.19 million during the same period in 2021.
