The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has launched a high-impact Investor Readiness Training Workshop for members of the Luapula Chamber of Commerce and Industry, marking a key step in preparing the province’s businesses for the upcoming Luapula Investment Expo 2026 which will be held from 20th to 24th April 2026 in Mansa.
The training is intended to equip growth oriented local businesses with practical skills to effectively engage potential investors expected to attend the Luapula Expo.
It covers essential areas such as crafting compelling investment pitches, developing bankable business proposals, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying viable joint venture opportunities with both domestic and foreign investors.
This initiative underscores ZDA’s commitment to building strong, investment-ready businesses capable of driving sustainable economic growth in Luapula province and beyond. By strengthening local capacity, the Agency aims to ensure that Luapula businesses are not only participants at the Expo but are confidently positioned to secure meaningful investment deals.
The Luapula Investment Expo is expected to draw investors, government institutions, development partners, and private sector leaders. The event will showcase the province’s rich natural resources and diverse investment prospects across sectors such as agriculture, tourism, fisheries, mining, and manufacturing.
The Investor Readiness Training serves as a vital foundation, ensuring that local businesses become active contributors and key partners in shaping Luapula’s economic and investment landscape.
