The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), in partnership with Petauke Town Council, the Petauke Chamber of Commerce, and the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA), successfully conducted a Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Capacity Building Training on bidding for Government tenders from 30th March to 1st April, 2026.
A total of 50 local contractors and suppliers were trained and equipped with practical skills to prepare competitive, compliant bid documents, enhancing their ability to participate in CDF-funded projects and Government procurement opportunities at the constituency level.
The Agency urges councils, stakeholders, and cooperating partners across the country to collaborate in scaling up these transformative CDF trainings, noting their critical role in strengthening local business development and driving national economic growth.
ZDA is committed to building capacity in local investors and facilitating joint venture partnerships for technology transfer and job creation.
