The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) in partnership with Absa Bank Zambia are leading a delegation of 42 enterprises to Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for a solo trade mission scheduled take place from 25th to 27th October 2023.

The goal of the mission is to increase trade flows from Zambia into Congo DR in the long term while the specific objectives are to:
i. Introduce more Zambian entrepreneurs to the Congolese business environment;
ii. Conduct business to business meetings between Zambian and Congolese businesses;
iii. Promote Zambian products in the Congolese market;
iv. Generate export deals and create market linkages and
v. Facilitate export transactions.

Zambian companies from various sectors such as agro-processing, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, mining, engineering, transport & logistics, services, etc will participate in the mission.

The companies will participate in Exhibitions, Business-to-Business Meetings with buyers from DRC through a matchmaking process.
